In 2016 Cameron Painters & Decorators Ltd were appointed taping, painting and decorating subcontractor for the refurbishment of the Carnegie Links Golf Club by Compass Building & Construction Services Ltd.
Our skilled tapers, painters and decorators provided the finishing touch to the building that lies on the grounds of the world renowned Skibo Castle built by indsutrialist Andrew Carnegie.

The works included the fire protection coating of new structural steel work behind newly formed plasterboard that required a smooth taped finish. Externally the club house masonry walls are subject to the damp harsh weather of the Scottish Highlands. These were coated for additional durability to prolong the buildings life. Internally all woodwork items were modernised. Ornate timber lined ceilings and joists, hardwood floors, and glazed dining area doors feature in our images below.
